The system of healing known as Homeopathy was developed by a German physician, Dr Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago. HaHnemann observed that a substance that can cause symptoms in a healthy person can also then be used to cure those same symptoms in a sick person. Hahnemann used the term 'Law of Similars' to describe this. Homeopathic remedies are used to stimulate the healing response in the body - to trigger the body's own abilities to heal itself. It is energetic medicine.

​Homeopathic remedies are prepared through a process of serial dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking), which practitioners believe enhances the remedy’s therapeutic effect while minimizing toxicity.

Specific Information about remedies are identified through 'provings', in which substances are administered to healthy volunteers who carefully record the symptoms they experience, creating extensive and detailed profiles that guide their use in treating similar symptoms in others.

The evidence is experiential - not theorized.

 

 

Treatments are individualized, meaning a homeopath selects a remedy based not only on a few specific symptoms but also on the person’s overall physical, emotional, and mental state.

It is holistic.
